Mid America Pet Food expanded a voluntary recall for potential Salmonella contamination. The announcement includes VICTOR foods made at its Mount Pleasant facility with best-by dates before October 31, 2024.
United States; specified facility and best-by dates. FDA hosts the company announcement. This historical event does not establish contamination of all current VICTOR products.
The company instructed customers to stop feeding affected products. FDA published a follow-up warning letter on November 22, 2024. Current resolution has not been independently established here.
